PBS Digital Studios is a network of programs that exists online and across different streaming platforms. There are several PBS digital studio programs that offer videos across multiple different content topics. We suggest using one of their program videos as an assigned viewing or using a similar style of interdisciplinary research within your own videos. We recommend watching this video by the PBS program The Art Assignment as an example.
Michael Wesch is a professor of Cultural Anthropology at Kansas State University. He is recognized as a leader in teaching innovation. He is well-known for his digital work. We recommend viewing any of the teaching related videos on his YouTube channel, especially his Teaching Without Walls video series that provides tips and resources on teaching in a digital environment.
NPR (National Public Radio) does a Student Podcast Challenge every year where they encourage instructors of K12 – University to help students create and share their audio stories.
